Indie rock band Remedy Drive is celebrating as "Commodity," the first single off the full-length album of the same name due out in September, reaches #1 at rock radio.
"I've always felt like the wimpy kid at rock radio with my piano ballads and pretty songs", says frontman David Zach. "So this is extra special for us. Writing and producing this song with my brother Philip has been the most rewarding experience I've had in 20 years of making music. I'm so thankful for all the radio stations that took a chance on this counter trafficking song of freedom and tested it out on the airwaves."
The timing of this news is special for the band as David heads back out this week to aid and assist counter trafficking efforts of undercover operatives in Southeast Asia. More news to come on that front. Until then - take a listen to the band's first indie released #1 single!
This week, Jesusfreakhideout.com released their list of most anticipated new albums for the second half 2014 and Remedy Drive's album Commodity made the list. Check that out here!
